Do you assist with transportation services to and from doctor’s appointments?

Yes, we will help you not only with arranging transportation but a reminder time of appointments. Medical costs are not covered in your care but setting up your appointments and assisting you is covered.

Where do I get my prescription drugs?

We work directly with a local pharmacist, Nu Cara Pharmacy, who will deliver your prescription medications to you weekly. If you have your own pharmacist you can get from them as well.

Are you a licensed facility?

We are registered with the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals. They provide oversight and regulation as to the type of services we are able to provide.

What type of services are you able to provide?

We provide supervision to prevent accidents and ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the senior. We provide assistance with your activities of daily living included but not limited to the following self-care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, toileting, and ambulation. We also believe in the concept of ‘aging in place.’ This means as additional care services are needed beyond our scope of expertise you may bring in outside providers so you can remain right here in the comforts of the Conrad Mansion Country Estates.

If I want a larger suite and none are currently available can I get on a list?

Yes, we are on a first come first served basis. Current residents always have precedence on room types over new residents. Simply let us know and you will be upgraded once a room becomes available.

I like what I hear. What are my next steps?

  1. Schedule a tour and choose your room.

  2. Fill out an application and submit today. We are on a first come first served basis. We have a 4 hour guarantee!! Once everything is satisfactorily submitted we will give you an answer within 4 hours during any normal business hours excluding holidays.

  3. Pay Your Entrance Plan and first months Maintenance Charge, and your room choice will be reserved until you move in. Again, this is on a first come first served basis.

  4. Prepare to move in. Often people can move in within 24 hours or on certain exceptions even sooner.
